bell mixer

Hi ,

I noticed on the blade grips that there is an extra hole situated further out on the grip. I read somwhere that it increases the bell hiller ratio. Does this just mean it increases the pitch window? It is a shuttleplus . i will very soon progress past hovering , do i need to further increase the pitch window, for forward flight , ,circuits etc? I am aware that 3 d with this heli wil be impossible but does it needed to be upgraded for just general flying? i am thinking of buying a metal swashplate for it. but i am not to sure its worth it, might be best to use this as a learner heli then buy something else. i have my eye on a shuttle Rg/m. are they 3 d capable?

anyways best wishes,

James

Re: bell mixer

I'd leave it as is and have fun with general flying. I think if you move the connection farther out it will be less sensitive to control input. But anyway, the factory setting should be good. You shouldn't have to change anything to drive around.

The Quick UK metal blade holder has only one position for the ball link and it is identical to that of the Hirobo original. In time, gradually upgrade to metal replacements, particularly the swashplate to eliminate slop and make control more precise. Good flying!
