Nexus 30 Gyro Placement

I'd never thought about this originally, but it finally started bugging me when I decided to go through the manual just for kicks (and besides, I'm taking 'er out for the first flight in a long time tomorrow, need to brush up on how to recalibrate the blades to take out the shudder I always seem to get after a great deal of storage time (even with the foam blade holder attachment that you put on the boom)). Anyway. On page eighteen (18), step thirty-three (33) of the manual, it says that the gyro is not to come in contact with the frame. But in the picture, it shows the gyro being placed on the double-sided adhesive directly onto the frame. Are you supposed to use only the adhesive that they give you (that offers about 1/8" of padding, or are you supposed to wrap it up in your own padding? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Gyro mounting adhesive

Hi,
The gyros are generaly mounted to the heli frames via double sided sticky foam tape. I Use 4mm double sided sticky foam that you can buy from any model shop. I have no problems due to vibration and it does the trick for me.
Hope this helps,
Regards,
Daz.
