Blade pitch setup

an any one point to a web site that would have detailed instructions on setting blade pitch and the correct way to use the tool?

I don't have a website, but I think I could explain how I do it fairly well.

Steps:

1.) Position the pitch guage to the desired angle for low collective (Mine is at -2)

2.) Slide the pitch guage down the blade to the point before it starts to narrow and attach to the main shaft.

3.) Use a bubble level to make sure that the ground the heli is on is level.

4.) Have a friend hold a small bubble level on the flybar to keep it level while you adjust the pitches.

5.) Move your left transmitter stick to the bottom, and adjust the blade pitch on your transmitter until the top of the pitch guage is parallel to the ground. Again, you can use a small bubble level if you're particular.

6.) Repeat step 5 at mid stick and high stick. I usually just fill in the points between so that I have a nice linear pitch curve.

7.) Repeat step 5 as necessary to set up your idle ups, hold curve, etc...

Hope this helps,
Andrew

thanks andrew, I will try this tonight when I get home from work. My big problem was that I did not know if I had the tenique correct. I bought a pitch guage but it came with no instructions and only had some common sence to guide me.

That's all I had as well. I'm just sharing what worked for me. I ended up bolting the bubble level directly to the pitch guage for hands free reading.
