| Kyosho Concept 30 DX upgrades Hi folks After a few years (10) out of the hobbie I decided to take my old concept 30 DX out of hibernation. The problem is: I didn't had the original rotor blades and I bought a set of replacement blades with a 12mm grip. I also bought the one piece rotor grip. I have seen that I need a longer tail. Can you guys help me out and tell me the lenght of the SR tail boom pipe so I can manufacture one? Also can I use the same bearings from the DX on the SR? I know that it will be dificult to get parts for this bird, but I still have a bunch of parts nib and before I buy a new machine I wan't to make sure that I will stay in the hobbie. |

| Re: Kyosho Concept 30 DX upgrades I hate to have to say this but I feel that it could save you a lot of time and bother not to meantion that in say this you may benifit even more than you think. The truth is that heli's have come a long way since you parked your concept 10 yrs ago. You are going to get nothing but hastle converting your concept at this time as the parts for it are no longer available. I have a Nexus that is modded to the hilt and finding parts for that is not so easy any more. This is why after a long time waying up my options I moved to a different model. As a result of this I now have a heli that is much more capable and cheaper to replace parts on than the Nexus was. I would advize you split your Concept and sell the parts off on E-bay. Use this money to help against the cost of a new Helicopter. You'll be glad that you did in the end. Their are plenty of models to choose from now and they all have there problem points, Thankfully these are so few that you'll be flying and enjoying yourself again in no time. Just my opinion of course. But you could use all your time and resources to get it up and running again to find that should you need replacment parts there aint any for it.

| Re: Kyosho Concept 30 DX upgrades Thanks a lot for your input, and you are absolutely right, I am already having problems finding just a few bits that need replacement. The only thing is that I keep this bird for nostalgic reasons and would really like to get it the air again. |

| Re: Kyosho Concept 30 DX upgrades I can understand where your coming from, I have made sure that I have enough spares for my nexus that I can use it for at least one more crash and still have it repairable for me to retire it to collection maybe taking it out a couple of times a year for old time sake. There are quite a few spares for the concept going through E-Bay at the mo. You could try giving this a try. http://toys.listings.ebay.co.uk/Radi...sortpropertyZ1 Good luck hope that you can do it.
