Re: T-REX 450s

Hi there, the Trex is a good heli....very good in fact.

Parts are cheap and plentiful....and this type of heli is very upgradable...you can have what you want in terms of hardware. I own a 450 XL HDE which has been fantastic so far...I crunched it a few nights ago when doing loops...the antennae wire got tangled with the rotor head...poor thing fell about 80ft and was destroyed...my own stupid fault

However I have spare parts coming down plus a spare airframe!

What I like about the Rex is how well it flys in a breeze...most other helis about this size dont cope so well...the Falklands is notorious for windy conditions....but I get to fly a lot.

The fact is you have a good heli there, plus a good make of radio. Be careful of glitching problems though...what radio is it?

Rob

Re: T-REX 450s

I have flown a lot...started of with a Nitro powered heli then got into Petrol power!!!

The Trex though really is good value for money....I can throw this heli around and it just flys so well...I dont throw the petrol one around too much...darn thing is quite large and heavy...needs tons of respect.

Re: T-REX 450s

Well...if you have the gear already then why not go electric.

When I get my Rex flying again I will invest in an extra charger or two...maybe one or two more batterys as well.
