| walkera df4..................NO im posting this to let any new bee who whats to buy a heli not to buy a walkera df4, the heli is to unstable brakes way to ez and cant hover for the life of it. it great for the money if your poor like me but i have more money in plastic glues than the heli cost. if you do decide to buy one get a lot of spare parts like the main body. my boom is being held on whit a plastic block i made. the lading grear is glued on whit the training kit that came with it. the so called head that pops of in a crash does not it cant i have no idea what these people where thing when they made this heli. in the into of features the heli has it tells you that it has inproved stability, if thats the case the one before this one must have never left the ground. i can get my heli to hover for about 10 sec before it crashes {if u consiter hovering to be all over the place {not hovering in one place at all}}no matter how much its trimed it eather goes forward or backward or to the sides. its defintly fun to crash just add some glue and your good to go. anyways if anyone does buy this heli fly in a really big room or out side whit absolutly no wind at all. i think it my be to light for its own good. im ganna try waighing it down a little and see if it helps. but it will fly just not ware you want it to. |

| Re: walkera df4..................NO You must have got a real bad one there sunshine! I have had two of these & have learn't to fly them both, they are very hard to get used to, but I reckon if you can master one of them, you can fly anything! ![]()

| Re: walkera df4..................NO my df4 went through much abuse and still kept going. I think it is operator error. Parts don't break themselves and all heli's need alot of work to keep them hovering. if you keep the heli away from the ground and others things it probably won't break very much.

| Re: walkera df4..................NO trump19, I agree with you all the way. These junk FP tail motored monsters have ruined more pilots than the Airhogs. At first I liked working on mine until I started to try to actually fly a little. Until I finnally figured out that there was NO WAY to keep it flying for more that a few seconds at a time I thought that I just couldn't cut it as a pilot. Then I impulse bought a wrecked 36 of ebay. Turns out that it was much easier (and cheaper) to rebuild and learn to fly than the DF4. I couldn't believe how much easier it was to fly! I jumped for joy after my first hover! To my relief it WAS possible to fly a helicopter without having to "read it's mind " first. I guess you either have to be very lucky with your purchase of a #4 or you need ESP and a gross of tail motors to fly them. Anyway don't give up because of a #4 because CP Helis don't fly that poorly. PS A SIM is a much better use of that money. Huey
