left-handed/right-handed blades question on variousa.com in their blades section, they list blades as being right-hand or left-hand rotation. Which corresponds to clockwise and counter-clockwise? Are these blades any good, or should you just go with symmetrical? Edit: Do you tell whether your rotation is clockwise/counter clockwise looking at the heli from above on the ground, or from below when overhead? Last edited by Andrew : 07-03-2003 at 02:36 PM.

As far as telling the rotational direction, you look at it from the pilots perspective. It would be the same from the top or bottom or inside the cockpit.

hi guys my vario is counter clockwise i order coun-clock symetrical blades as these have corrections on the botom for balancing + they have the cool vario singn on top of them i read somewhere that technicaly you could just flip a symetrical blade upside down and it would perform as well, but since these composite blades are corrected on the bottom ,you might as well order the proper set. steff
