Blade cover damage

Hi everybody.

A couple of days ago I went to the field to fly (maybe the rignt word isn't fly) for the firs time. It is quite difficult as I hoped.

I think that a smal stone hit one of my blades and I get a small hole. It is a very small damage on the wood but it has raise a bit of the plastic cover. I'm afraid that the rip will get larger with the effect of the wind.

Is there an easy way of reparing the cover before it gets worse?.

BTW: It is a Raptor 30 v2 with the default wooden blades.

Thanks for your help.

Best regards

hi it's hard to to give help without seeing the blade but here it goes.
if it's just a ding and a small rip thin ca might do the trick then after a little hover just land and look it over to make sure nothing is wrong.
or thin ca and a piece of traking tape on both blades just put one on top of the rip.
from what you say ti is verry little damage but make absolutly
sure your blade is not craked for this would be verry disatrous

What do you mean when you say 'thin' ca?. I guess that ca is for cyanoacrilate. I'm sorry about the stupid question but english is not my native language (I'm writing from Spain) and some expresions are difficult for me.

Thanks for your help. Best regards.

I used 15 minute 2 part epoxy on my last blade problem. See my post in this area, it has a picture of the blade and what happened.

After I applied the epoxy I smoothed it out by hand and wiped away the excess. CA would probably work too, but the set time is so quick it's hard to undo if you don't get it right the first time.
