| Re: Honeybee blades cp 2 symetrical wood blades is the way to go as a beginner. These are just a discription that tells you the blades have equal amounts of airofoil on the top of the blade and the bottom. Carbon blades also have this but are far stronger and flex less than woodies. Hope this helps.

| Re: Honeybee blades cp 2 I'm assuming since you haven't got it off the ground yet that you had the stock blades, which are symetrical. And you pay a bit more for them as well. If your anything like me and tend to bust'em up before ya even break them in get the flat bottoms. They don't have the same feel as the symetricals but are cheaper and fix nicer with tape. Tape is our friend. CF blades are tough but expensive. They will take some abuse but not as much as I can dish out. After I learn to stop hitting the ground (walls, dogs, wife) so "hard" *far* my pick will be the symetrical CFs.

| Re: Honeybee blades cp 2 here is a site which sells new plastic blades for the blade cp and so they should fit on a hb cp2 as well (correct me if im wrong guys). these blades seem to be an excellent choice for beginners, they will save ppl like us plenty on blades. i ordered a pair myself, i havent tried them out yet but will let you know once i do. also they are a little heavier than the stock main blades and so they make the heli a little easier to fly. http://www.jcshobbies.com/ here's some info from the site: These blades are designed to give the beginner a chance to learn to hover without fear of destroying blades. The design incorporates added blade weight that aids in stability and durability with the sacrifice of flight times lengths on the stock battery. With the lithium polymer battery, the helicopter performs well and is suited for the intermediate pilot who wishes to advance their flying skills, again without fear of replacing blades in the event of a crash. The blade performance with the Lipo battery is excellent. The slight weight increase helps the Blade CP track through the air and maintain stability in fast forward flight |

| Re: Honeybee blades cp 2 Keep this in mind as well my friend. Making one part stronger makes another part weaker.Beware of the rotor head should you hit something hard. Beware of slicing yourself in half. Good luck and let us know. And please be careful, something about them I just don't trust.

| Slicing yourself in half sure has me leaning toward wood.Especially someone who broke one before they got off the ground, but it wasn't my fault the dining room chair jumped out in front of it. ![]() |
