Re: lipo batteries

C = Capacity so 10C means it can be discharged at 10 times its capacity I only use 20C. The 1800mha or 2100mha or 2800mha is like your virtual gas tank (IE 2800mha will get you more flight time than a 1800mha pack) long as you keep 11.1v the mha rating is flight time.

Re: lipo batteries

I guess it is a matter of personal opinion I prefer 20C over anything else.

Re: lipo batteries

thanks for the in put . it seemes as if the 2000mah 10c is doing good enough to get me off the floor for pratice. but the next lipo will try to find a good price on the 20 c 2000mah instead of the 10 0r 15 c

Re: lipo batteries

You need to be careful of the load that your heli puts on the battery
at high throttle. If you exceed the C rating of your battery, you could
do some damage to the battery.

If the battery that came with the heli is a 20 C then I would suggest that
you stick with 20C packs.

IceWizzard is right in that the mAh is like the fuel tank---bigger means more fuel
and longer flight but the trade off is higher mAh also means more weight and sometimes
means a larger battery too.
