Li-Po NewBee needs help

I can't seem to find much Info on Li-Po battries but I think I'm in the right place now. I have been flying a CocoLama G5 with 7.4v 800 MAH 10 & 12 C Li-Pos. I assume the C is the charging rate and the MAH is the discharging rate, Is this correct? Is everything good as long as I use 7.4v? Will a 1200 MAH give me more flight time and not huirt anything? Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Thumbs up Re: Li-Po NewBee needs help

Hi there, I am new to lipo as well but as no else seems to want to talk I can give what bit I know. yes you can up rate the battery by mah a 1200 will give you more air time and yes as long as to stick to 7.4 you will be safe. when I first started with lipos I got a v balance by flightpower using one of these makes charging a lot better as you could damage the battery and yourself if your not very careful. I now use them in my tranny and a raptor 90se helicopter and I am even working one using them in a small light weight flight box for my Helli. good luck and be careful don't do something unless you know its ok. I left a £75 lipo in a plane connected but turned of with a switch, came back in the morning to find it had discharged right down and was useless
