6.0v batteries If i get 6.0v batteries, do i need to step down the voltage to 4.8 before plugging them into my receiver, or can it handle the increased voltage. I'm using a JR system and i've got 4 x 591 + 1x 8700g + icg 400 plugged into it. thanks Russ

ah, i was assuming that the system would only draw 4.8v and that that would increase the lifetime of my battery. i guess what i really need is something like a 3000mah 4.8v battery, and then i can probably take that piece of lead out of the nose of my heli and get longer flying times for no penalty russ

heres annother way two switches and two 1500 mah packs the second switch can go in a free chanel or y cord it in a chanel in use already. this adds extra security of one switch going bad and longer flight time,if one switch dies the other one is there to cover, lots of guys do this,i use this system in my 1\5 scale planes. you can find info on this as well steff
