| Re: How to keep a 4 year old back? Dunno really, My other half is the child control person (nursery staff ) however Id say if the 4 year old wants to watch the heli fly you tell him that you wont fly it for him until he behaves and watches like a "big boy/girl". The key here is "big boy". I'll ask my other half tonight if I remember.Take care... azzy

| Re: How to keep a 4 year old back? I dont know if even a cage would keep this kid back, but thanks for the advice Azzy, Im not too worried about him getting into the CP, but when I get the Swift running, Im afraid hes gonna do something stupid, and end up in the hospital.

| Re: How to keep a 4 year old back? Get the little Guy a simulator...and get Him learning ![]() You have a real duty to protect Him from harm....and you must protect yourself too....an accident that could have been avoided will not look good for you.....because you as the pilot are responsible. Blade strikes can be very very nasty....even from little helis. Rob |

| Re: How to keep a 4 year old back? Don't fly your heli when he is around I have the same problem with my grandson the heli stays in the car or in my office if he is around. Thats all you can really do to protect them from what can happen. I Know what can happen I took a walkera df60 out of the air with my arm ouch!! Thats another electronics problem story aka walkera junk. |

| Re: How to keep a 4 year old back? Thanks for all the advice, he was around today while i was Trying (emphasis on trying) to fly my Swift today. Again he didnt want to stay very far away from it, but luckliy far enough that when it tipped over when I started to cut power, that he didnt get hit by any flying debris.

| Re: How to keep a 4 year old back? I dont want to tread on your eggs here, but if you are getting to grips with your heli....and the little guy is trying to get His mitts on it, literally, then I wouldnt bother entertaining flying the heli. Dogs, and children dont mix very well with rc helis...or planes for that matter. Personally I dont mind people watching me flying....but with kids? I explain in no uncertain terms...that they need to keep well back. Rob |
