Re: Beware Sh#% Happens

Lol. Sounds like my old franken heli. started as walkera till only a cpl parts where stock. oh and then splif only a cpl parts wern't brocken. lol. I have read and ben told about micro heli parts bending so I dont think its more of bad part as much as hard hit. And I whouldnt say dont do it again, but just remember what you have learned and be proud of your self for preventing any one from geting hurt. I must bow to your skills I cant stop the hard objects from sucking me helis in. lol. so I stay away from curbs and any other heli magnets.

Re: Beware Sh#% Happens

I'm sure its not bad parts it had to have been from the hard hit it took. I'm running the same setup on a Walkera 35 belt conversion and have like 25 or 30 flights on both. Never had any problems before.

As for doing it again NOT GOING TO HAPEN !!!!!!

Re: Beware Sh#% Happens

If you ever decide to do a show, you could use windbreak type netting....fine but strong green stuff....I have seen it at heli shows...very effective at catching any stray parts if you crash a heli....plus the netting will catch the critter if it goes on a 'search and destroy' mission.

You did your best to show something different, nothing wrong with that....but as an audience increases then so do the risks....take this as a learning experience......but if you are put off doing a display then thats cool...just try a smaller number of people who can be easily controlled.......I have seen adults doing some really silly stuff with regard to safety when they should know better.
