Re: fed up with crowds!

How about a bunch of caution tape and some trees? maybe they'd understand a line...

Or how about tell them the helicopter has missiles on it?

Hmmm...I wonder why *real* helicopters aren't often seen landing in heavily populated areas...

Re: fed up with crowds!

the problem with taking a dog is, alot of dogs like to play with small hovering things.

Re: fed up with crowds!

I've actually trained my dogs to stay away from any hovering thing by using a bark control. Now they don't even want to get near any of my helis. Works great if you have dogs, and would practice heli anywhere near your house, or even Lama in your kitchen.

or a bcx in the house. I have to ga away from the house with my x400. If I had a big house with 17 foot celing then I might hover the 400 in side, but not in my house. im thinking centry guards. lol

Re: fed up with crowds!

Helis are people magnets you could be in the middle of the dessert and as soon as you start one up BANG they just appear.
I fly near my house on about ten acres im there a lot so people get used to you being there i was flying the last week when i noticed a car drive up the track i landed and with the heli just running on the ground this guy pulls up behind me gets a park flyer out of his car and has ten atempts to fly this thing around then plowed it in to the ground he picked up the bits and drove off. At no stage did he ask me what freq i was on or anything like that he could of shot me out of the sky and put us both in danger.Seems you have to think for everyone these days.Make a sign up that reads.Yes Its worth a lot of money..Yes it goes fast...No you cant have a go... That should cover the basic questions you get asked while flying..Cheers

Re: fed up with crowds!

Lol evilone.

I read on another forum somebody got a t-shirt made up with this on the back..

Yes, I'm flying it.
(It's harder than it looks.)
It's radio controlled.
Higher and farther than you can see.
5 to 20 minutes.
On average, 7 to 70mph.
It's electric.
Yes, batteries.
Nope, not included.
No you can't, go get your own.
Sure, I'll help you learn to fly yours.
If you watch quietly, I'll do a trick.
I'll answer your other questions after I land.

Maybe you should consider doing that. (lol I am )

Take Care... Azzy
