| Re: fed up with crowds! being an aircraft mechanic one thing you learn is a rock can fly if the engine is big enough. It all on how much you have to spend is it not? Just one more way to look at things in life. It is all fun ![]() |

| Re: fed up with crowds! lol, quite I used to race RC cars. One day this kid asked me how he could get his car to go as fast as mine. My response was how much money you got? As someone else on the forum said, it's amazing how quickly a $ 200 kit can turn into 3 grand. Quote's from "The Land Before Time" when Petrie was trying to learn to fly.

| LOL Kids-I crashed my heli because of a kid trying to keep one eye on him and the other on my heli. Didn't go so good. The other thing is I've gotten really good at strighten the parts like main shaft, feathering, fly bars. I have a few 3 grand kits around and all out dated now, chargers for nicads and know chargers for this kind and that kind, batteries that now can make flames burn my little model and house up. I think its like in the 60's a buck was a buck and then 70's came a buck is like ten well now a hundred is a thousand. |
