| dsc cord can someone tell me how to use the dsc cord? Does my radio need to be plugged into power? module in or out? any other help? thanks |

| Re: dsc cord It's my understanding that the RX and TX both have to be on, but the TX RF module can be removed. The cable goes from the trainer hole to the receiver DSC connection. I got that from the Futaba site but I haven't tried it... don't have a DSC cable. |

| Re: dsc cord Come to find out, the TX does not have to be turned on. When the DSC cable is connected the TX becomes operational, except that it doesn't transmit over the air. So of course the synthesizer module can be in or out. |
