first to post in this foum! w00t!

i recently purchased a heli off ebay. the radio that was shipped was not ever used with the heli.

its the model above. it claims to be digital but its old.

do you think it would be worth trying to find a charger and attempting to ue it or should i buy a new radio?

it also has a different crystal than the heli. so i will need to swap one or the other out.

Re: futaba fp-t7fg/k

I am not sure how to post a new thread so I'm adding to this one. I am trying to work out what channel on the Futaba FF7 to set the throttle curve and which to set the collective and which heli mode to be in.

You have to mix trottle and collective\. Trottle Master and collective slave.
and you have to set Hel 1 Mode. It is confusing. It took me 2 weeks to get programing set. Futaba 7 is very complext to prgram heli ( Shogun). George

Rod, try to re-sell it on ebay a get the Futaba 7C radio or if funds allow go big with the 9C and have a real honker There are many radios out there that will work but if your new to the hobby, Its best to buy your radio gear as all new and current from a LHS or an on-line retailer like Tower Hobbies to make sure you have the best chance at learning to fly.
