| Futaba gy501, is it ok front and back of heli Hiya guys, my poor bro has just started up and is having a nightmare, he has a old kyosho vr47 with csm 360 gyro that needs reversing( no reversing tab ), papaloo, so we're gonna use the gy501 from his better 1 for when hes capable.Problem is csm gyro is in front of heli, is it ok to put the gy501 gyro part( aswell as amplifier ) in the front of heli? ta guys. ![]() |

| Re: Futaba gy501, is it ok front and back of heli To reverse that first gyro you simply turn it upside down. The CSM 200 is the same deal, I started out with this gyro and still have it somewhere around. So stick it upside down and let me know how you get on. Position wise for the second gyro you mentioned? it doesnt matter that much. behind the mast or in front....it ideal to get it as close to the mast as you can but not if it gets trapped anything...make sure the gyro cant get bumped around...doesnt do them much good...and make sure its secure...a loose gyro can easily crash the model. | Re: Futaba gy501, is it ok front and back of heli No probs, it will probably work out OK...if in doubt try finding a phone number for CSM and see what they say. Rob |

| Re: Futaba gy501, is it ok front and back of heli Yes that done the trick Rob, thanks, shame after i done that then set it up bro had allready sold the heli due to him thinking the gyro was naff and he didnt want the hassle of taking the 501 out, lol. At least the buyer doesnt have to get a new gyro ![]()
