Thumbs up Spektrum Dx-6

Hi all. New to the forum and finding hours of interesting reading here. I thought I would put forward some info about a new radio I have. I chose the JR section to put this because as far as I can tell, this IS actually a JR radio. No one seems to be able to confirm or deny this, but the resemblence is striking compared to most current JR radios. It is even sold with JR battery packs and charger. And some of the circuit boards in it are JR branded too. Anyway the point of my post was to let you know how good I have found it to be. For those unfamiliar, the DX-6 is a "crystal free" radio that runs on a really high frequency compared to our 36 and 72 mhz sets. Its on 2.4Ghz. It cannot be shot down by other radios... at all, it suffers no interference, never glitches, never locks up.. its so stable. I really love it. I currently run it in a plane, and also a Walkera DF-36 chopper too. It's a programmable computer type unit, and so far, I cant find anything i need it to do that it cant be set up to do.... So very flexible. I has 10 model storage in it. So far that easily outruns my small collection! I bought it after having one too many bad crashes due to the awful glitchy Walkera radio gear that came with my DF 36. This radio "connects" you to your model so precisely, you really feel more confident flying with it. Anyone considering trying it, or its newer brother the DX-7. I highly recommend it! Cheers, and happy landings folks.

Ben.
