Jr622 Hey all, I just bought an mx400 and all I need now is a radio. I have a JR622 layin around from my plane days, it is a 6ch but online it says it can be used for heli's since it has that option and a 3 point throttle curve. Will this be good enough? I hope so, Also has anyone used this radio for a heli before? Thanks

Re: Jr622 Hi: the 622 will work if it is ccpm the holdup is finetuning but I have a 652 using it on a 450 Trex works ok but I'll up grade soon to a more tuneable radio say the 9303 and that only because I don't really have a heli radio that is to say the switch placement.

Re: Jr622 If its not a computer type radio then you can still use it....but I would pay the cash and get a computer radio...the most basic ones are priced well...and offer real flexibility in terms of setting up and adjusting...the common addition of model memories is a real bonus too. Despite the term 'computer' these radio systems are quite easy to use....and once you start using one you wont do without ![]() Rob

Re: Jr622 It is a computer radio, it is was replaced by the jr 662. The only difference is that the 662 says it is an airplane/heli radio. I will try it out and if i can't get it to tune right then i'll upgrade. Thanks for the input guys
