Gyro placement

I'm confused about gyro placement.

The Raptor manual has a diagram showing it stacked ontop of the receiver ontop of the battery.

The CSM site says attach using the provided pad onto the frame where it won't get too much vibration, not at the front of the chopper.

Stacked ontop of a battery and rx doesn't sound very vibration proof to me, and souns alot like the front of the chopper

Someone else said it shouldn't be within 10cm of the main mast.

how important is it where the gyro is placed. Obviously it needs to be firmly stuck down and sit in the correct plane, but does it really matter whether it's up top, down bottom, front or back?

this is always the trouble with these things
where o where do i put the gyro
they do recommend at lease 10 cm from engine ,high frequency interference, same goes for the antena.
most poeple place it on the rear close to where the boom goes in,on my chopers ,i have them in front cause i have the room for this, these things are so small now they can normaly find a spot in front,
it does need to be on a double sided sticky foam usualy provided
and direcly on the frame,it needs to detect what the heli is doing and not the wobling of the receiver and battery stacked togeter,
on your raptor the rear is probably the solution.

good luck
