Hi
I just bought a Raptor 60 v2 and Futaba 9C radio, how do I get the gyro to heading hold mode?
The gyro is flashing intermittend, the book say that it schould go to steady state when HH is working.

Thanks

You need to make sure to turn on your receiver while in heading hold mode. If it's flashing, that means that you turned it on in Normal mode and it won't work right. If your gyro is plugged into channel 5, make sure you set up a dial or switch on channel 5.

Personally, mine is set up and configured as follows:

1.) plug gyro into channel 5 of the receiver.
2.) custom configure a dial on the radio to channel 5.
3.) Turn dial clockwise so it's at about 3 o'clock.
4.) turn on transmitter
5.) light on gyro should flash fast, and then stay on solid. This means you've turned it on in heading hold mode.
6.) Turn the dial counterclockwise to turn gyro to normal mode. The indicator light on the gyro should go off.
7.) Fire up heli and trim the tail rudder as best you can in normal mode.
8.) When it's as good as can be, shut down everything and return dial to 3 o'clock.
9.) Turn on receiver in heading hold mode and you're good to go.
10.) Adjust gyro gain with the same dial. clockwise until the tail hunts, and counter-clockwise until it stops.

Hi
Thanks for quick answer,I found out what the problem was:
The wire that goes to channal 5 is a singel wire,I used an extension cord with 3 wires, and i had plugged it in 180 degres wrong in the reciver.
Working like a dream.
