Does anyone know if a 7UAF can be reprogramed to be a 7uhf? The only difference is the software. Thanks for ant help.

Re: Using a 7UAF for hekicopters

My 8U can go both ways but if your 7U cant support heli software, your out'a luck. Not only is the software different but so will be switch type and placement on "mode" and "thr hold". I've never had a 7U, but if your saying you dont have any heli support with it now then its unlikely that any conversion can be done.

Re: Using a 7UAF for hekicopters

I have a 7UAP should be the same cept for mine is PCM. i just mixed channels. plugged throttle into ch6, pitch into ch3, mixed ch3 as master and ch6 as slave. cant remember the ratio. added an exponential function on ch3 and just played around with the limits. now my radio behave the same as a heli. dont have same throttle and pitch curve adjustabilty but u can play with the exp and mixing function to try achieve the same thing. hope that helps.
