Question Icg 540

Does any one out there use an ICG 540. I have gotten it to hover but still have a nasty waggle in head hold. can any one give set up tips

please could you give a little more info on your set up . what radio do you use , what are you using for a tail servo and what gain settings you have, and did you put the gyro through the setup. With this info i should be able to help

I am using a JR662 radio and a JR537 servo that came with it for the tail. I did the auto setup and it works good normal but can not get the wagal uot of Head hold mode.

LOOK AHEAD GAIN 35%
CONVENTIONAL GAIN 82%
EXPONTIONAL GAIN 125%
HEADING GAIN 88%
DIRECT COUPLING 30%
HEADING LOCK RAND 40%
HEAD LOCK RELAXATION 2%
STICK LINEAR SEN 10%
STICK EXPO 30%
MAX YAW ACCELAEATION 2250

Hello

I have an ICG 400, and this gyro causes tail waggle if the gain is set too high in HH mode. I understand you have 88% gain? If I am right, try bringing this down. On my heli, I have it set a 65%, and it locks great with no waggle.
