JR 3810 has far better software than eclipse 7 ,I know and have experianced problems with the eclipse 7 but they now say theyve fixed the problem .I know that my local heli shop has just started selling them again.the problem was that when you put the throttle to the zero position it gave 100 percent throttle and also there was a revolution mixing fault .Im not saying this will be on all models but I for one would not take the chance. My local heli shop are selling it with a replacement chip for the software so make sure if you do decide to buy the eclipse that you have it checked out before you buy . This was a very dangerous fault and should never have been allowed out of the factory.
I dont know how they get away with it but they do maybe the powers that be should impose stricter controls over these types of items I realy do hope this helps

X3810vEclipse 7

Hi
I am a few weeks away from getting the eclipse 7 myself, I deliberatly stayed away from these because they where new however. the factor for me is cost the x 3810 now has more or less the same package as the eclipse 7. Though the X3810 does have a few extras it also has a nice price. Hitech have also now introduced the new campac facility to threre radio.
I have used hitech all through my flying and am quite happy with the quality of the product they put out.
If you can afford it. I would say get the best you can and that would be the X 3810.

Hi Tech eclipse 7

Ok then,
If like me your budget is small, The eclipse 7 will give you all the fetures you will require to move into 3D flying when your ready.
I personaly am going to move to the eclipse 7 exactly because of this.
Low cost without the loss of functions, Quality is of very adiquate standard.
If I were just starting with a low budget then this is where Iwould go.
You can always if you get that good later sell and move up to the more expensive models. But you will not out grow this radio it has plenty to give for the lower budget.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Daz.
