| I recently finished setting up this gyro on my 9CH. It was a little confusing at first. The main thing to remember is to never turn it on in anything but AVCS(heading hold) mode. After turning it on in AVCS and letting it initialize, switch over to normal mode and trim the tail rudder as best you can. Land, cycle the gyro power, and turn it on in AVCS mode. Adjust the gyro gain, and you're tail will be like a rock. As I said earlier, the key is to always turn it on in AVCS. Otherwise, it can lead to a confusing time trying to get your rudder trimmed. |
