JR XP652 Transmitter

I am new to the RC Heli experience. I have a JR ERGO 30 CCPM and a JR XP652 Transmitter. I have followed the directions in the XP652 manual in an attempt to set up for initial flight. I am having difficulty setting up some of the ranges/settings. Is anyone familiar with this transmitter and could help with setting it up?

I've flown with JR since the beginning. I've got a manual for that one right here. What specifically were you having trouble with?

I used the setup procedures in the ERGO manual. I followed step by step. I understand that the numbers that must be put in for each channel are ranges. I can not get some of the ranges in. On page 37 section E, it instructs on travel adjustments for the super servos. I can not input some of the negative ranges. Do I have to have the sticks at a certain location, center, all the way to the left/right, etc. as I try to input the ranges?

Most of the time the controls need to be pointing the direction of what you're adjusting. Watch the display on the radio. For travel adjustment normally stick left or down will change the display to the negative (not really negative just the other direction).
