| Reflex xtr probs i overnighted this sim, thinking its got to be the best - i plug it in , windows doesnt detect the usb interface... the driver wont install... the sim wont detect my tx... in other words, they gave me a bad connector.. ive worked with computers for about 10 years now.. yes the tx is on, yes its set for ppm mode.. yes the usb port works.. is updated.. and my machine far exceeds the requirements... so what do i do? contact reflex directly everyone says.. which i have... wolfgang the only person directly related to his german site... hasnt responded ... so im stuck witha 250.00 debt for a sim i get to sit and watch the blades spin around while the heli sits on the ground immobile.. what a wonderful purchase |

| Re: Reflex xtr probs For anyone else that is having this problem, First question is. Is this the genuine simulator package or a copy? The reason I ask is the simulator disk can be copied but it is absolutley no use without the genuine interface that came with it. If you purchase the simulator make sure it is genuine. If the simulator is the genuine article and you have a problem with it working then you can contact the main sight for the reflex and discuss sending the interface back. They will check it and if it is not working replace it at no cost to you. If you loose the interface that comes with your sim they will not give you another. All this information can be found on there websight. The only other reason I can think of for your interface not being detected is that it is not correctly set for your radio. I have freinds that also have the XTR simulator and none of them have had any such problems. Having said this, It is in your best interest to check that it is compatable with your brand of radio. The manufacturers do state that they cover most of the mainstreem brands and offer advice to the purchaser to change it to suite there radio if it can be done or they will do it for you. I have had no problem contacting them for advice in the past.
