Unhappy Re: Dragonfly 35 6 channel

I have also recently purchased the Walkera 35. This FMS setup is really pi@#$ng me off!!! I have found little support for this problem. I don't think you can use the simulator with the walkera. I think it;s a myth. I fthere is someone that uses a walkera please step up and tell the rest of us what you did as far as com settings, fms settings. I also read in some thread that you don't need the ppjoy interface. What gives!?!?!?!?!?!?

The FMS and PPJOY do work with the fixed pitch Dragonfly I know because I am using it. For some reason you have to get a kit to make it work with ccpm helicopters-They sell them on ebay.

Thumbs up Re: Dragonfly 35 6 channel

None of the regular TX-to-PC cables will work Walkera 6ch transmitters because Walkera extended PPM frame by adding a digital packet at the end. As a result, all regular interfaces choke on this non-standard signal.

Fortunately, there's a special Walkera interface interface sold by milehighwings.com
http://www.milehighwings.com/usb_cables.htm
which works with all non-copyprotected simulators. It's USB and works in all Windows versions, including XP, as well as in MacOS X.

I hope you'll find this info helpful,
Boris

Re: Dragonfly 35 6 channel

I posted this earlier today. Check out the products:

Hey y'all,
I'm looking for a flight SIM (including cable interface, CD, etc.) for my Walkera #36, that goes with the stock Walkera Tx. I've found two sites selling:

Item Number: 6032700526, from E-Bay.
http://cgi.ebay.com/PRE-FLIGHT-Drago...QQcmdZViewItem

The above says its 'custom made - super accurate' for the #36, including tuning from 'professional RC fliers' (who's that????! someone from this forum? ). Comes with a price - US $44, not including shipment.

The other supplier is Hirobo:
http://www.ehirobo.com/shop/product_...oducts_id=2665

This one is cheap (US $ 15), comes with cable + software CD, but with a huge 'WE DON'T PROVIDE ANY TECHNICAL SUPPORT'.

Anyone out there tried any of this two?? Please kindly give feedback. Thanks.
