| Question about RFS G2 I just got it yesterday and was wondering when you fly a real heli do you have to counter act every thing. OK let me explain this better. If Im in a hover and I go into forward flight I push up on the right stick so it tilts forward now if I let the stick come back to the center shouldnt the heli straighten out and go into a hover? when I do, do this it still stays tilted forward. It does the same for left and right also. Is this how its suppose to be? If you cant understand leet me know and Ill break it down more. Thanks |

| Hello, May I say that the Real Flight Simulator 2 is a great tool for getting started with RC helicopters. As for your question, you do have to counter act every flight move you do and when you get to fly your real RC helicopter, you will notice the same characteristics, that's the beauty of the beast. My advice is, go ahead and make a copy of an aircraft on your flight simulator and play around with the radio settings especially the servo settings under the exponentials. I believe that if you go positive 30 to 50 the high and low you will get a better feel of the RC helicopter. And even play with the negative numbers just so that you can get to know the differences. | Hi, The answer is yes you always have to counter the inputs you make. The easiest way to help you understand this is to think of a airoplane. When your controls are at center then everything is lined to hold the plane straight. If you introduce left turn then the plane will bank left and Keep banking steeper and steeper until you return the stick to center. At this point the plane will hold the angle till you turn the lever to the right to bring the plane back to level flight. Again when the plane is level you return the stick to center and the plane will fly straight and level. this applys to climb as well as decent. the stick always goes back to center to hold the aircraft in the attitude you want it. It is allso the same with the Helicopter. You will allways have to turn right to straighten from a left hand turn and vice verser. Center stick will only ever hold the heli/Plane at its current position. Not bring it back to level flight. If you use a remeot control car and you turn left the car turns left if you go back to center stick the car goes straight. This is the only time this kind of affect is seen, Cars, Boats, tanks and the like. Aircraft will stay in a turn till you counter it. remember the longer you hold left or right the more the aircraft will turn. you dont have to hold the conrol all the way right to make a steep turn. just turn slow and keep the lever where it is you will see that it continues to get steeper till you return to center stick. Then you will need to go the other way to get level again. Hope that this helps, Happy flying Darren
