Phoenix & Spektrum DX6i

Firstly the standard JR adapter that comes with this sim works with the spektrum DX6i, so no problems there. Now here comes the problem. It seems the CCPM is not correct, if I increase throttle the heli goes up, but try & move the tail rotar & she noses straight in
I do believe my problem is ME!!! I really haven't got a clue about this transmitter, it comes with the Blade 400 3D & is setup to run this helicopter, all I want to do is programe anew model memory & have that memory as sim use only, but I'm struggling with the manual a bit, somethings are not very clear...HELP!!!!
