DX6i + which flight sim?

I'm going to do this in a reverse order, namely what sim will work with my Blade 400 transmitter (Spektrum DX6i). I am leaning towards Pheonix as someone told me the spektrum uses the standard JR connector...can anyon enlighten me on this please. I'm sure there are a lot of Blade 400 owners who would also like to know what the actual connector type is from the spektrum & what sim will work with it.
