Realflight controller mod

A tip for using the realflight controller with helicopters, didn't dream this one up myself, i heard it from someone on RR, but it's made a massive difference to my flying.

To make the collective feel like a proper transmitter:

remove the back of the Tx and put a 1cm piece of fuel tubing over the metal ratchet bit, then replace the back, i had to bend the metal bit a little to get the required feel, but we're talking thous.

This leaves the stick with friction enough to hold it steady, but without the quantum collective response of the standard setup.

I've found that especially in windy conditions the flying is noticeably smoother than with the original setup. And it feels almost like the real controller.

If you don't like the mod or you want to change back, just reverse the proccess.

Hope this helps any realflight pilots out there

Russ
