Good cheap sim

Dont know if anyone has tryed this simulator out yet,but its a good one.It's called clear view rc simulator,it costs 30 dollars(that's 16 pound to us in the uk)and you get to try before you buy.It has the raptor 60 and 90 model's aswell as a load of other heli and aeroplane models.I dont think you could do any better at the price and i personally recomend it.Check it out

I dont agree with you.I tried to fly clearview without a joystick or anything i just used the keyboard. In order to fly clearview without a joystick you would need a lot of patience .

Try flying real rc helis with a keyboard that would be pretty impossible to. If you have a tx with a usb cable its a good alternative to the lights of much more exspensive sims such as real flight. This sim has helped me achieve nose in hovering, stall turns etc and ive managed to build up the nerve to contemplate inverted flight if the weather would give me a chance.

I have just bought clearview and using it with my esky fms simulator. the fms software would not load and run properly so I thought this would be a fine replacement.
I am not sure of the graphics on the FMS but I think I am learning to fly a lot cheaper using the clearview software than going for broke using my honeybee fp as a testing vehicle.

I have clearview and it doesn't help.I used an exceed usb receiver and it works and looks ok but not accurate.I tried to use my belt cp receiver and it wouldn't work the controls at all right and I did great on that for two straight weeks and took my belt cp up for 30 seconds and totalled it only thing good is main frame and battery.I was 2ft off ground.

I've used the demo version of clearview with my fms controller, loved it! Also, you can use HeliSimRC sim. It's free. Not as pretty as clearview, but very accurate.
