OS 32 Pull start problems!

Hello,
Iam a complete novice in this hobby. My problem is that I purchased (perhaps foolishly) an OS 32 SX HX Pull start to go in the Kyosho Nexus 30 S type helicopter.

So far i've attached the cradle or engine mount to the engine and the cooling fan to the front of the engine.

The problem comes when I try to attach the engine to the helicopter's frame, the holes in the cradle don't line up with those in the frame. After looking at it, it seems to be an inherent property of the engine as even without a washer between the fan and engine it doesn't fit.

I'm thinking of drilling some more holes in the cradle, though I wouldn't want to risk the engine shaking itself loose.

If anyone has any ideas or advice, I would be most grateful, thanks.
