BME on raptor 60?

Hello I have heard of people putting a BME motor on a 60 size raptor and wondering if any here does it or even know what im talking about? A BME is a 60 size with 90 size power thunder tiger that is very light and very high rpm with a rpm of about 14k. Here is a link http://www.bmeengine.com/html/point90.htm . I am wondering if anyone uses them or has used them or if you put on in your heli and if you have pic's of video's? I would really love to see one of them fly to see there power and I am planning on getting one and putting it in a 60 raptor soon I hope.

Thumbs down Re: BME on raptor 60?

Hi Jim, we have not tried a Thunder Tiger engine. Do they make one with a piston ring?

Re: BME on raptor 60?

Yes your are right. "Super Tiger" The Raptor takes Thunder Tiger.

Super and Thunder are two different engines!

Re: BME on raptor 60?

I am well aware of what is default in a raptor but that doesn't in anyway mean that is the only engine that can be put in it. I have a hawk pro and I can put any kind of motor in it as long as it will fit. I also know that you may need to change gear ratio etc no big deal since I know people who can do this in there sleep lol. But anyway yes I was wondering if anyone here had one don't go telling me it won't work because people at much bigger forum's are putting them in raptor 60's and 90's.
