Plzz Help!! What Way Should Starter Spin?

Plzz help guys, it been many years since i flown my helicopter, i cant remember what way the starter should spin, clockwise or Anti clockwise. many thanks.

Hi,

If your main blades turn in a clockwise direction then your starter will need to rotate anticlockwise. If they turn anti clockwise then you can almost bet that it will need to spin clockwise.

Most glo engines rotate anticlockwise....this is looking at the engine from the front of it.....its a good idea to engage the starter shaft and rotate by hand...this proves that the engine isnt loaded up with fuel....because if you have an engine thats full of fuel and you go to start using the electric starter you could bend the con rod.
