| Re: Enya Ss 35 Wont Start HI You may need to prime your motor prior to trying to start it. To prime it you can cover the exhaust outlet and turn the engine by hand a few times. this should slowly feed fuel to the carb. I would try setting it to base settings if it still refuses to start. That is always a good idea for an engine that has not been used for as long as yours. Did you use after run oil to protect it while it was not being used? The first thing I would do is return the base needle settings to it and then prime the carb. then I would check the glow plug battery is working by seeing if the plug glows bright when conected. If all this is ok then I would have a go at starting the engine. Be sure that your throttle is set correctly. You don't want it to fire up on full revs. Let us know how you get on. ![]()

| Re: Enya Ss 35 Wont Start If you havent flown this heli for that length of time then there might be fuel residue blocking the carb up.....the old fuel will evaporate over time leaving the oil to go all gummy.....I would strip the carb and clean it right out....take a note of the needle settings before going too far.....then after cleaning re set the needles to their original values. Good hint: for setting the low end side of things.....with the carb partially open....its idel setting.....take a piece of tubing....attach to the fuel feed on the carb.....place the other end in your mouth....gently apply pressure....close the idle needle and open till you hear a slight hiss of air in the carb.....this will mean the carb is about right.
