OS .52 4 stroke engine, any opinions?

I'm a beginner thinking of buying a Century Phoenix 4-stroke Heli. Century says it's quite and has lots of torque. But it seems to be the only one out there. (maybe there's a reason?) I'm also considering Century Falcon or Sceadu 50. I know I should start with a less expensive 30, but I'd like to get something I can slowly grow into. Can anyone give me a little advice. Thanks, Todd.

Yes there is a reason.
A FS driven heli is a very different beast from your normal two stroke.
The first being not enough power output from a FS driven heli.
A two stroke will give a real power difference and rev's and more HP.
The compromise to that is you eat more fuel for the extra grunt.
I hurl a Sceadu 50 around and menace the sheep on the strip, the nice thing with this heli is the huge setup range from locked stable hover to ballistic with no hop up parts.

My Ergo has a RCV 58 FS and is very different and although I have done some light aerobatics I would not push it like the Scuddy.

Advantages are lower exhaust note. so quieter and less fuel

I learnt to fly on 60 a size machine because there was little else around when I did it. You will have of course the advantage of a more stable platform in the bigger heli.
As I advise everyone get some expert help locally, if you have the pocket to match go 50 size heli.

Happy Landings
