Apache/Blackhawk Rocket Launcher Mod?

So I'm going to get straight to the point because I want some feedback on this new project I have in mind. I've built all kinds of RC cars but never a helicopter, and I want to go balls out for my first project. So here's what I want to do:

I want to build a scale Apache or Blackhawk helicopter. I don't care if I have to custom build the body myself. I'm capable of doing it if I have to. But that's just the start. I'm very proficient in electrical and computer systems engineering, so I want to add some cool custom upgrades to make this not just another RC helicopter project, but something you could REALLY have some fun with. And by fun I mean I want rocket launchers.

That's right, I want to add custom, scale rocket launchers similar to the type of launcher that the military helicopters use to fire the Hellfire missile. Mine will use bottle rockets. I was thinking something like maybe 15 rockets per 'wing'. The rockets can be ignited electronically using model rocket ignitors, something like the Q2 that has a plastic tip to keep it securely in place on the rocket. I want to add a toggle switch to allow me to switch between single fire mode (a simple static relay can be used to fire one ignitor at a time and then switch to the next ignitor) or 'Hellfire' mode which will fire the entire payload of each launcher all at once.

Contact points will be added in each cylinder of the rocket housing to provide the electrical current to fire each rocket. The plastic bottle rockets that scream really loud I think will do best. The sticks will be removed and a rocket ignitor will be inserted in each rocket, the rocket will then need to simply be inserted in the tube to be ready to fire. I was thinking I could even add a small, red laser sight which will become active when the missiles are toggled to their 'armed' state. This is going to be so badass. Seriously.

I think a mod like this would actually be pretty easy. I'm going to need to do some testing to figure out which type of material would be suited for the rocket housing. I was thinking that a lightweight aluminum block machined with 15 tubes in a honeycomb style pattern would only weigh a couple ounces tops. I'm also considering weight issues here. I figure I could pull it off, under 2 lbs. easy. What kind of payload can different kinds of engines carry?

At some point in time, I would also like to add a rotating Airsoft turret on the bottom of the fuselage. One that rotates 360 degrees and rotates on an X-Y axis to provide full maneuverability in the heat of combat against my neighbors cat. I would probably have to add a second radio into the mix, which would actually be awesome because you could operate as two man team, one pilot and one 'gunner' operating the turret and rockets. Either that or I guarantee you I could rig up an old PS One controller to an existing radio and add some extra functionality. Okay that's probably reaching a bit but the two radio setup would be fun. Not just fun. Badass.

So as veteran RC helicopter enthusiasts, how realistic would you say this project would be, assuming that money is no object? The Airsoft turret might be a little far-fetched, but then again I've never disassembled an Airsoft gun so I have no idea how complicated the inner workings are nor how much they would cost in terms of weight and maneuverability.

I should probably also spend some dough on a good simulator, and probably buy a cheap-o starter kit to get the feel for it. I would hate to finish such a beautiful project only to crash. So what do you think?
