depends on how damaged we're talking about but if it's craked
use fiberglass cloth on the inside the 1.5 or 2 0z stuff is good
and on the oiutside the .75 oz is better .
just sand the area you have to fix cut your cloth and i use the z-poxy finishing resin it's easy to work with and all you have to do is pour it over you cloth let it sink in and remove the excess with a credit card type plastic (sort of like a skeegie) let it dry then sand and put on a second coat for covering up the weave. this is for the outside so you get a smooth finish then sand and paint.
on the inside you want strenght so use the 2 oz you can even put 2 and 3 layers for tikness it does'nt need to nice just strong,make sure you sand befor applying resin or it will not bond.
