| I have painted quite a few automotive parts and accessories using standard automotive paint (i.e. Enamels). Does anyone have any references of what types of primer/paint, preping tips, hints and tips for dealing with the canopy flexing (which causes stress cracks in automotive standard paints). I am working on a great paint mask for my JR Ergo 30 but would hate to create the canopy only to see is be destroyed due to vibration, fuel, and stress cracks (due to the flexible canopy). Thanks, Greg Maxwell |

| Re: How to paint heli canopy's They make a flexing agent that you add to automobile paint for spraying the bumper covers, I used it to also spray plastic car parts, like ground effects, ect. It works very good. Your local paint supplyer will have it. I would use a urathane paint, I belive it will hold up better. |
