Finally got my first decent Hover!!! YAY

Hello!,

Im new to the heli scene, race gas cars mostly. Anyway i brought myself a lil indoor dragonfly and today after about 2 hours of constant practise i got it into a stable hover bout 4 feet of the ground! YAY im so happy, the dragonfly has been a great lil starter for me, ive only had two problems with it so far, the tail motor burnt out, which they do.. and they blades sometimes come loose! Im so wrapped! Im hopefully gonna get a 1000 mah pack so i can have a bit longer flight times. !

Re: Finally got my first decent Hover!!! YAY

Hey amarth!

I know they are tricky little buggers at first, took me two weeks before i could get mine of the ground! The best thing i found to do, was i tied it down to a platform (just a bunch of bricks ). This lets your give the thing power and not let it get away from you when your trimming it out. Trimming it out is the most important thing i can recommend. Oh and alo check your channels.

Also if its a straight out of the box kit, balance those blades again, at least dynamically. This ill get rid of a lot of the vibration. I just use pieces of electrical tape, ways down fine!

Newayz have fun!
