mistakes

Yesterday I made the mistake of letting my girlfriend hold my radio while I started a brand new heli I just built. I didn't notice that she was holding it in her arms with the sticks against her chest and consequently had pushed the throttle all the way up. Needless to say I barely got out of the way before it launched upward. Before I could regain control (hadn't even trimmed it yet) it came crashing back down breaking the frame, blades, main shaft etc...

stupid mistakes...

Re: mistakes

Sorry to hear about your crash491 . Just go ahead, get your replacement parts and get back
to flying. At least you learnt a lesson for that day and hopefully it won’t happen again.

Re: mistakes

Yeah, I knew that too (which makes me twice as stupid) but I was excited to fly and decided to wait until later to set that up on my radio. Patience would have gone a long way on this one. Anyway, the parts are on the way (around $180) and I'll be ready to go again.
