| 1st flights with the TRex Went well, no broken parts to speak of so it is a success! It's hard to fly these things but I'm into it now!!! I have flown probably 4 or 5 battery's worth and i'm happy. I think I need a heading lock gyro, so probably next weekend I'll invest in one.well the battery is almost done charging so I'm off for one last flight before dark. |

| Re: 1st flights with the TRex Great news and yes a better gyro will help I use the Futaba GY240 in mine and it works great some would say use the 401 but for a new person that is over kill and the 240is a good gyro I have a 401 in my Hirobo Freya and it is great for a large nitro but the 240 is more than enough for the Trex.Again GREAT JOB and now you will be hooked for life. ![]() |
