There was once a time when I was one of the most active members on this forum. In fact there where a few of us that received video's from Val for being the most active hear.I could come hear at any time of the day or night and the site was full of people from all over the world. I learned most of what I know about setup and programing from the awesome people that once graced these pages regularly. I don't know what happened but I feel like I've lost a thousand close friends in the last year. I still see many of the old diehards on other sites but its not the same.

I still drop by a couple times a week. Just to see if anyone else is posting. But its always dead. Anyone else dropping by that may see this please just say "HI".

I see and feel the same things as you. I really miss this forum as the people here are the nicest around. Or they used to be around!
I know we all progress in the hobby and get bigger and better machines but I really miss the old Walkera thread. My 36 has been hanging on the wall for awhile now that I have a Trex 450 clone and have recently added a Protos 500 to my stable but the challendge of making the Walkeras fly is what I started with and kind of miss.

Hey Huey good to hear from you.
O yea the good old Walkera days. We couldn't have picked a more temperamental heli to start out with. Those thing where grate for learning setup and fine tuning on if nothing else. I've still got the two 35's but they are pretty much just workshop ornamentation now. A few months ago I got the 36 out and completely rebuilt it to give to my brotherinlaw. He has been practicing on the sim for a wile and wanted to get a Blade 400 to learn on. I figured I could save him some money and put that old beast to good use again. So I sent him home with a box full of parts the Lama the 36 and a new addiction hehehe.
Now days I'm flying my Raptors mostly. Just love the smell nitro in the morning.

You are correct about the addiction part! I have two nitros but rarely fly them because of the extra time it takes to get them airborn. I have been this hobby for the better part of three years but I rarely get to fly for more than 5-10 minutes a week!
I have my 450 flying great now so I am finally advancing as a pilot and the Protos is just unreal! I'm still afraid to crash it so it is doing basic stuff for now but the power is amazing!
Do you have a Raptor 50?

Its got to be tough having all your heli's just sitting there and only getting in a couple flights a week. But I know how it is. I don't get to fly as much as I would like. I always make sure that I get at least one day a weekend for my heli's.
Thunder Tiger is all I'm flying now. It isn't that I don't like other brands. It's just the way things happened to work out. I've still got my Mini Titan. That thing is awesome!!! Its pretty well binged out now after 2 years of crashes and replacing things one at a time with upgrades. I've also got a Raptor 30 V2 and a Raptor 50 Titan that see the most air time. The Titan 50 is by far my favorite. I just ordered a Canomod Canopy and a set of Spider Gear skids to give the 50 a facelift. I've always thought the stock TT canopy's are some of the ugliest ones out there. I'll get some pictures up of the facelift when the parts get hear.

Nothing wrong with going Raptor. That is what I wanted but wound up with a Kyosho Caliber 30 and it flys great when I can find the time to drag out all of the nitro stuff and tune it up.
The 450 gets most of the flights in the back yard or in the park during lunch but time is short.
The Protos is just a crazy rocket and I'm feeling my way carefully through it's setup.
Have you talked to Hawkman lately? He's hanging out at Crackroll but that forum seems as dead as this one most of the time.
