| 3d Time? I'm Bored with hovering nose in or out. Im wanting to try a flip or roll but I would like some input on a good starting stunt. Should I attempt an alioron roll during forward flight? Or I was thinking about a forward flip. Both good on sim but I just wanted some input on where to safely start on my TT50. |

| Re: 3d Time? Hello, I'm no expert but I've read that the best thing to start with is the stall turn. This is because if you start a loop and don't have enough speed to make it over the top the stall turn is the bailout move. I like doing them anyway because they look good and are easy to do. Also the top of the loop is a good place to start flying inverted. Try it on the SIM and see what you think. Huey PS ALWAYS FLY AT LEAST TWO MISTAKES HIGH!

| Re: 3d Time? Hi Tim, Im no expert either lol. The first aerobatic thing I did was a nose over tail flip. Get high (at least 50 ft) put it in the hover.. pull the stick back and hold it.. Bit of -ve as it goes over the top and back to +ve as the bird comes back the right way... the reason you keep it high is if you forget to put in the -ve pitch, youve a chance to get it back. Once youve done it once... it gets easier lol. After the nose over tail.. you can try for a side flip... same thing only keep in the aileron... just make sure you dont touch the rudder as you go over. I wouldnt start with a moving roll because to get the heli moving fast you need to get the nose down and this makes rolls harder cos you need to remember to get rid of the nose down before you roll or it becomes a VERY scary move. Loops are easier but again getting the speed right can be a bit tricky. Good luck and dont blame me if it all goes wrong lol. Azzy ![]()

| Re: 3d Time? Thanks for help! I tried a forward aileron roll and it looked bad but I survived. also did a backwards flip. What is a stall move? is that a big forward moving loop? Thanks,Tim |

| Re: 3d Time? A stall turn is when you start a loop but stop and turn when vertical and then come back on your original path. Once you get good at it you can do 540 stall turns which is one and a half turns at the top. If you get really good you can come back down in a tail slide! Good luck!
