I Think I May Actually Be Able To Do This !

Good Morning Guys,
This morning was the first chance I had to fly my Blade CX2 since Sunday as well as since you gentleman have graciously offered advice! Well I am happy to report that this morning, I was able to somewhat hover under control (notice I said somewhat or I least I thought I was in control) at 1-2 feet and maintain inside of a square approx 48'' by 48''. I realize that I have a LONG LONG way to go ! I will say that I also felt as though my airframe was never in jeopardy! Havent been able to say that before! If I ever felt like I was not going to be in control in a second. I landed whether I was in the box or just outside (quickly realizing that is the best approach!!) Anyway thanks again guys for all the suggestions and keep them coming !!
Steve

Good for you, I know the feeling. Getting the basics nailed is the most important part of this hobby, take it easy and push yourself when you feel you have to...its only by pushing a bit that you learn more...but at your own pace.

Take it easy with the battery(s) land and recharge when your heli loses power....flying it to the max will ruin a LiPo battery....if you use spare batterys it pays to let the motors cool a little before taking to the skies again. These type motors are not high performance as such...but treated well they last a long long time.
