Re: My walkera 22e turned over

Finally I got the new reciever, but I noticed that the servos pointed all different with the new reciever so I had to try and setup the heli again. Now I've lifted about 1m off the ground

But TWICE i managed to hit the 3D button by accident with resulting in a brutal takeoff and a hard landing after I paniced and removed almost all trottle. Rear rotor broke and after a while I had both main rotors cracked as well. But I have spares so I just went for a little learning by doing. Now I know how sensitive the heli is and I've loaded a model in FMS so I can keep on practicing and crashing in the simluator

Re: My walkera 22e turned over

I give up soon... Today I was practicing to hoover in my computer room and suddenly after 5min *BANG!* and I was all surprised. I didn't crash or anything. I saw that one rotor was missing and apparently the rotorbase had loosened from the rotor head sending the rotor right into my TV-stand! Luckily I didn't get hit with the projectile and that it didn't go out a window. :O

I rly trusted this metalhead upgrade, never though it would break like this! I just flew normally... Scary!

Re: My walkera 22e turned over

I crawled around the floor with a head light and I found the missing screw The other rotor base was loose too, so now I've tightened both sides back in and mounted my last set of spare rotors.

Ready to fly again, I hope ;P

Re: My walkera 22e turned over

you realy need to use thread lock on the scews cos the the vibrations will loosen it up again good job u wasnt hoverin at eye level

similer thing happend to my df60 was hovering it out in the back whem boom i thought at first that the battery blew up but it was the blade it striped right off the grip all that was left in the blade grip was the brass thing from the blade.

well because of that the top frame was bent it striped a servo bent the shaft
